Julian Rois Cantu was only 13 year old when for the second time his mom got diagnosed with breast cancer. For years he watched her struggling and suffering before it all came down to a double mastectomy. His mom lost both of her breasts and nearly died. “The diagnosis came too late,” Julian recalled.
His mom was his biggest inspiration, a guiding force that made him search for a better way of detecting breast cancer as early as possible. Although women are encouraged to regularly exam their breasts, it’s very difficult to discover the subtle changes in the body. That`s why Julian invented the “auto exploration bra,” that can potentially save millions of women.
His innovative bra has more than 200 sensors, specially modified to detect early signs of breast cancer.
