The village in Louka, Czech Republic is becoming a world know attraction thanks to its 90-year-old resident who spends every spring and summer hand-painting its houses with majestic designs.
Her name is Anežka (Agnes) Kašpárková, a former agricultural worker that decided to join the other local ladies who had been doing this for a while. Her work is simply mesmerizing, inspired by traditional Moravian floral patterns with vibrant blue color.
Agnes has become a worldwide sensation, but she has remained humble and insist that it`s only for her own pleasure. “I am an artist, I just enjoy it and I want to help.”
When it comes to creativity, age is just a number.
