We all know who Ashton Kutcher is but very few people know about the success of his organization Thorn. Recently on The Today Show he spoke about the organization he started with Demi Moore, now his ex wife, and how they managed to help thousands of victims of sex trafficking and child pornography and also track down the criminals and abusers.

About Thorn

Thorn is an organization that focuses on stopping or at least minimize  the effects of child pornography and sex trafficking online. In order to be as successful as possible they`ve teamed up with mega companies like Google, Yahoo, Dropbox and Snapchet.

On the show Kutcher spoke very passionately about how his organization uses digital tools to fight back and STOP human trafficking from happening online. They have been also successful in developing a tool that will help law enforcement in finding traffickers and recover victims. So far they have recovered around 6.000 victims and tracked down 2.000 traffickers.

This is an incredible achievement and as more companies are becoming contributors, the more success Thorn will have.

‘“Our next battle, my next commitment…I’m going to make a pledge that I’m going to eliminate child pornography from the internet.” says Kutcher.
