After Her Daughter Ended Up In the ER, This Mom Posted a Powerful Message To Anti-Vaxxers That We All Need To Read

The issue of childhood vaccination has been a hot topic for some time now with a lot of myths about immunization (most of them proven to be false) and the fact that not vaccinating your child is a serious threat to the lives of other children.

Camomile Echols, a mom and registered nurse wrote a powerful message about her recent experience with her daughter to warn other parents about the danger of not vaccinating.
At age two, her daughter Ashley had a kidney transplant and therefore she couldn`t be vaccinated against chicken pox.

“I’ve been relatively quiet on social media about the ‘Anti-vax’ movement. I’ve seen smart-ass memes saying ‘why would my unvaccinated kids be a threat to your vaccinated kids if you’re so sure they work?’ – said Cammille.

Well, here’s why it is important. People need to understand that some children cannot have live vaccines, just like her daughter and others with similar medical issue who if vaccinated would have contracted the virus instead of developing immunity.

After her daughter got exposed to another kid that had chickenpox and they ended up in the ER. So far she got several injections of immunoglobulin and since the incubation period of chicken pox is7-21 days they have to wait and see what will happen, because she can get very, very sick.

Her is Cammille Echols`s plead to all parents:

“Please, if you are someone who believes your child will get autism from vaccines, PLEASE educate yourself. There isn’t a single peer reviewed study that came to that conclusion. And the people choosing to skip vaccinations put children like my daughter at risk. She has been through SO much already. And this was avoidable.”

So far her post has been shared more than 120.000 times with tons of comments!

We wish Ashley a safe and speedy recovery.
