Meet Ryshell Castleberry, a tattoo artist from Florida that wrote an unbelievable emotional post on Facebook about stay-at-home moms. The response she got was more than overwhelming, 638k likes and more than 301k shares.
The post starts with an imaginary conversation between a husband who complains a lot about his wife that doesn’t work and a psychologist. Without realizing he ended up listing all the things and tasks his wife does at home on a daily basis – breastfeeding, changing diapers, preparing food, washing clothes and dishes, taking the kids to school, grocery shopping, helping the kids with homework….
Maybe there is no diploma for what a mom does, but you cannot put a price on her sacrifice.
Not all found this post empowering, in fact, some thought this was an insult to working moms. Other moms commented: ”And there’s those of us who do all that AND work.”
Castleberry tried to defend her point of view, saying that her post was largely about recognizing the effort and giving credit to those who are under appreciated.
