In an attempt to do something new and different a Czech brewery launched a new product with the hashtag #beerforwomen.
Needless to say their new venture backfired because people were quick to point out that women don`t need a special beer.
As you can see, no time was wasted…
Sadly, this sort of thing happened all the time back in the 30`s and 40`s, but we are way past this type of treatment today.
Or, maybe we like to think we are…
In one way or another, this brewery made headlines, but for all the wrong reasons.
Because beer`s are marketed to men all the time, some believe that there is nothing wrong with marketing to women.
Well, given the lack of responses, I`m not sure that anyone supported this argument.
Since the company`s website doesn’t exactly say what’s actually in the bottle, I think it`s safe to rule it out.
Maybe marketing a non-beer as beer is the only thing that’s worse that this whole mess they made.
As always, people started to make jokes because suddenly it was confusing to know from what brand of beer they should drink from.
If you`re old enough to enjoy it, all beer is for everyone, it’s as simple as that.
I think this woman gets it!
#allbeerforeveryone. Don`t let yourself to be fooled by a marketing division.
It didn`t take much for other beer stores to get on board.
I don`t see a bright future for the Aurosa brew anytime soon.
The imaginary girly lifestyle created by the brewery didn`t do much to calm people down, in fact many found it to be insulting.
It`s safe to say we can chalk this one in the big “FAIL” category.
A beer is a beer and beer is for everyone.
