What reason do people have for storing nude photos on their phones, especially of their daughters or mothers?
Reality show celebrities seem to have a talent for arousing controversy and sparking parenting debates, as earlier this month, Kim Kardashian-West was slammed for posting a nude photo of herself on Instagram. But she has done this many times before, so what was the reason that got many people upset?
It was the reflection of her 4-year-old daughter in the mirror, standing behind Kim. She even credited her daughter for taking the picture.
Some social media users have praised Kim because she believes she’s teaching her daughter that she should be proud of her body, but many argue that children should learn that not all body parts should be displayed to the world.
But Kim Kardashian is not the only celebrity parent who has her parenting tactics questioned. Something that Farrah Abraham commented about her mother-daughter relationship has struck on the nerve of many.
The adult film industry star tried to defend Kim by telling TMZ: “My daughter and I, we run around the house naked and we just live life free. I mean, we have naked pictures on our phones of each other because we’re like a mom and daughter crew.”
Many social media users think what she’s doing is against the law, since her daughter is a nine-year-old girl, and is heavily influenced by her 26-year-old mother.
One Twitter user wrote:
“We have all watched severe child abuse for years, and no one has done a thing about it. It’s so sad. She’s sick”
Another user wrote:
“Naked pictures of your baby, cute. Naked pictures of a nine-year-old, kiddie porn,” “Farrah has admitted to escorting (she says there’s no sex but I don’t believe it) and I have no doubt she’d pimp her daughter for the right price. She’s that morally bankrupt.”
Did Farrah make a bad parenting choice or not? Would you take a naked photo with your 9-year-old daughter?
