The sad truth is that all of us have been in an isolated situation even when surrounded with a group of people just because we were way too much indulged into our phones.
It`s sad how smartphones have become black holes in which people lose themselves. We might think that we are more connected to the world, but in reality, it’s the exact opposite.
When we browsed through these pictures the first time around its devastating to see how “removed” we have become from the world.
Eric Pickersgil, a Florida-born photographer gets all the credit for shooting these photos and publishing them under the title “Removed.”
Let’s take a closer look, shall we…
1. Together, and yet alone
2. It`s clear how apparent is the distance between them
3. Kids having “fun”
4. “Removed from work”
5. A couple spending some time “together”
6. “Just married”
7. Mother and daughter spending “quality” family time.
8. A family dinner
9. Capturing memories
10. The man and the wheelchair!
11. The Ted Talk “Removed”
Here is Eric already planning his next project in India to show how every part of the world has been silently plagued by technology and how we have all become digitally isolated.
