Jessica Sziranyi from Miami, Florida says she had never had more self- esteem before. She said she was sick and tired of media focusing only on thin women and that she couldn’t stand the constant pressure to lose weight. Ashley Blackwell, 19, from Birmingham, Alabama, who was cyberbullied for her extra love handles decided to stop taking to heart the bad comments she got for her photos posted on Instagram.

Mariposa is sure that there are plenty plus-size men and women who lack self-esteem and self-love. She created the hashtag #WeWearWhatWeWant to prompt them not to give a damn about what the others think of them.
